Gee - I don't remember the last time I've been this behind on my blog! Needless to say, we've been staying very busy in the Stearle home! :) I always prefer that anyway....Well, looking back at the last 2 weeks, I'm going to play some catch up!
JACKSON'S PARTY... was great! We had fun and I know Jackson did too! We weren't able to open presents for him until Monday (Memorial Day) but it was actually nice like that cuz we were able to let him play with each thing and take our time.... We took tons of pictures too!

Uncle Dave and Aunt Carla bought Jackson his own baby grand piano!! He loves it!

FAMILY PICS: On Sunday, in NWA, Dave drove over from Siloam and took some family pictures of Ryan, J and I... they turned out really cute! When I get them from Dave, I'll post them.
THE WONDER PLACE: On Tuesday, 26th - Amanda, Noah, Jackson and I went to The Wonder Place for the kids to play! It was AWESOME! Think - several rooms with all different kinds of activities for the kids to play with... a water table and a sandbox and drums and everything! Jackson mostly wanted to play with the playhouse doors.. open and shut, open and shut... he could go for hours.

1 YEAR DOC APPT: On Thursday, 28th - Jackson had his 1 year checkup and shots. He did awesome... He weighs 23 pounds, 8 oz and is 30 in long! My little boy is half as tall as me! He's basically in the 50th percentile on everything which is the way it's been most of his life so far... But the doc said he is doing VERY well developmentally.. maybe even closer to a 15 month old on that. I told him it's crazy how much this kid understands!! Ryan and I are officially watching our language! :) His words thus far are "Dada, momma, pup pup, nana, hi and bye bye" He tried to say watermelon the other day... came out pretty cute! Don't worry mom - I'm working on Mimi! :)
MNO: On Friday, I got to go to a Mom's Night Out dinner at Cantina Laredo with my mom group! It was so fun!!
1 YR PICS: On Saturday, Jackson took his 1 year pictures, but they won't be ready until next week. I will post them when we get them... they turned out really cute! That night, we ate the rest of the burgers from Jackson's party and had Eug/Darcy and Mark/Stacey over for burgers and games! FUN! If we end up moving, I'll miss you guys!

MONDAY: On Monday, Jackson was in the pool twice! We had swim class in the morning and then we had Mr. Harrison's 2 year birthday party that evening!! Harrison and Jackson have the same birthday, just one year difference... We're so glad Harrison could come to J's party so we wouldn't have missed his!! Jackson had a blast and even got VERY comfortable with the water toward the end.. he ended up getting his dry clothes all wet cuz he kept going back!!

TUESDAY: I had a walknplay scheduled at Pinnacle Mountain at 900am but had to cancel. Due to the recent craziness, I've been just winging it w/ Jackson's naps... but I have done that too many times... Jackson officially wigged out on me on Sunday and Monday due to the lack of proper naps! So - I decided on Tuesday to make sure he got his good first nap. So he slept for 2 hours!! So we decided to go see my good friend Brandy in Conway... we hung out, played, etc - then at 115p, we left so I could get him back for another nap... well, he fell asleep in the car.. then wouldn't nap at home and proceeded to just scream and throw fits until 400p when he FINALLY fell asleep for an hour. So no more! My baby just needs 2 full naps. Period - end of discussion... so who am I to try to change his natural needs? So I won't... I'll just adjust MY schedule to fit his from now on...

TODAY: Today I have laid low all day for my sweetness.... He slept 2 hours this morning and woke up happy... we played, we had lunch... we played some more.. then at 200p - nap #2 easy and happy... it's 300p, he's still napping.. YAY! :) Everyone wins!
