Sorry I haven't updated yet... but it's because I've been crazy busy snapping new pics with my NEW CAMERA!!! I've been wanting this camera for what feels like FOREVER! Now, I have to update the software and learn how to get the pics onto my computer so I can do a new blog update.... lots to post!! Tune in soon! :)

Birthday Party Success!!!

Our baby boy is officially a year old! Toddler zone - here we come! Jackson had MANY MANY friends and family come visit for his 1st birthday and we are very thankful to have such love and support for not only Ryan and I but for our baby boy! Ryan and I were too busy to get pictures, but Uncle Dave took some so here are some pics from Saturday's party....
ps: Thanks mom and dad for all of your help w/ the party and allowing J and I to stay there for a week under your feet! Jackson had a GREAT time... and thanks to everyone who came and helped out...

Jackson's birthday cake! My mom told the cake people to make it Cubs or airplanes... so we have a baby bear in a plane! YAY! :)

We had about 65 people there, so we had a lot of burgers to cook!! Ryan was our grill master... unfortunately, we underestimated how long it would take for the grill to heat up and stuff, so we didn't eat until 230p or so...

Our Birthday Boy is a Daddy's Boy - that's for sure!

Jackson had about 15-16 friends come to his birthday party!!! What fun! They had coloring books and colors and playdoh to play with... then they got their faces painted and .... Penny Pockets showed up to say hi!!! (See pic below).

Cake Time! We sang him Happy Birthday and then Jackson had his own little cake and he went to TOWN on it!

Boy how time flies... It seems like yesterday we were in the hospital w/ this little guy and now, look where we are! Ryan and I are SOOOOOO blessed!

And just chilling w/ the momma.... He LOVES to be outside! I'm glad the weather has been so nice so he can play...

Gentry Safari!

On Monday, Jackson and I were invited to go to the Gentry Safari with Aunt Carla and Grandma... so of course, we were excited!!! Since we were only going about 5 mph, they said we could take J out of his car seat and let him look... So Aunt Carla drove and I held Jackson and he was SOOOOOO happy! Kudos to Aunt Carla for some great photos!
