Visit from Woodruff Girls!

Our friend Hollie visited recently and brought her two gorgeous girls... We had fun playing together and catching up... These girls are so sweet... I wish we lived closer!  <3

A special bond...

So my brother is 6 1/2 years younger than me... and so I had no idea what having children 2 - 2 1/2 yrs apart meant... esp not with boys.  These two brothers fight constantly... and I mean, REALLY fight!!!! There are almost always injuries... and it's pretty 50/50 as to which kid fights the hardest and which kid instigates.... But every single day, multiples times a day, there is fighting... and every day there is crying... and every day there is tattling.  On the other hand, they also love each other very very much.  They are truly each others' best friend... and since I never had that, I've loved watching these boys - love AND fight.  They keep me on my toes, for sure!  :)

Baby Critch

... that's what Ethan calls Christian. He wants to hold, kiss, hug him and squeeze, pinch, poke him all the time!  It's actually gotten to where Christian cries when he sees Ethan coming his way... Poor guy knows the foot pulling is coming... He loves the attention, however.  And Ethan freely gives it as much and as often as Christian wants.  Or mommy allows.  :)

This boy makes me so grateful. I just look at him and I'm just amazed that he's mine.

Play DAY!

Catching up on my blog... I almost forgot to post about a super fun day we had at our house a few weeks ago... We asked Ben and Noel, Cole and LK to come over to play at our house in the backyard for some fun!  I think that was accomplished... After lunch, the kids hung out upstairs and watched a movie, ate some popcorn and rested... Then, later that evening, we played out in the driveway and ate more popsicles.  It was a fun day and I think they all slept well that night!  Ha!!

 

 

Big Boy Date!

A few weeks ago, Jenny and I took our big boys and Ben on a big boy date! It was the MOST fun!  We first took them to Bariola's and had some pizza and then we were off to the movie... It was the first mommy/jackson date we've had, so I was really excited!  We saw Monsters University... It was the cutest movie!  The boys loved it... Afterward, Jenny snapped a pic of Jackson with the Wolverine poster... his favorite super hero ever. It was a fun night!

Goodbye Mother's Day Out....

Today was Ethan's last day at Mother's Day Out.  He attended 6 weeks of MDO this summer and now he will start big boy preschool in August.  We're sad to leave our school... It's the same school Jackson went to from 2yrs old - 4 yrs old and Ethan has attended this particular school since he was 6 mos old!  We love the staff, the teachers and Ethan will especially miss being in class with his buddy Lily Kate!  It's been a fun summer for Ethan having her there!  These two have become big buds... Makes my heart happy.
