More Treats!

Another Halloween package came in the mail this week!  This time it was from Grandma Carol!  Suspecting there may be candy involved, we waited til the boys had dinner and baths and then we opened the cool box!  Needless to say, there were many fun goodies in this very creatively wrapped box - no surprise from Ryan's mom!  The boys had fun peeking into each wrapping! Thanks Ma for making Halloween even more fun!

shortly before jackson's 3rd birthday, we started him in gymnastics... he loved it and couldn't wait to go each week.... in august, i switched him over to another place where he is now in gymnastics with only 3 and 4 year old boys!  his coach is even a man... Coach "Chase" (cool name, right!).  anyway, jackson's best buddy at school - ethan - is in his class too and he absolutely cannot wait til tuesday afternoons!  yesterday, i took pictures of him - the best i could through the "looking" glass.  i was reprimanded for using my flash, so the pics didn't turn out that great, but it's so fun to watch my big boy!

 After I got busted, I had to turn my flash off and use manual settings - which is hard anyway but especially behind a glass where it's much more lit behind me that in front of me... but you get the idea.  in this pic, j is on the right rings. He's the one in the black Halloween pumpkin shirt.  :)

 Meanwhile, Ethan was busy inside playing with his friend Eli.  :)

 I love this pic cuz you can see Jennifer's legs in the reflection of Coach Chase having his final pow-wow w/ the boys.  Super cool pic!

Fall Fun!

On Saturday, we took the boys to Farmland Adventures in Springdale for some fall-time fun!  First we went through the corn maze - where we let Jackson lead us around... I ended up having to take my shoes off cuz we walked what felt like forever going through this maze - but Jackson LOVED being in charge.  At each "station" he got to chalk a color to his finger and at the end - depending how what pattern of colors he had on his fingers - he had to perform a fun task.  After all this, we went through the petting zoo, rode the ponies and played in the "corn"box, which was Ethan's favorite!  I would highly recommend this place to anyone!  Such a fun time!

"Papa's Treat"

It's Halloween time... so that means it's time for me to try everything in my power to not gain 5 pounds.  Meanwhile, my boys are on constant sugar highs and taking about ghosts and monsters and "scary" stuff. 

They were elated to see these Papa walk in the door last week with these bags!

a perfect evening.

Friday evening was my definition of a perfect evening. When the boys woke up from their naps, we all just played in the playroom - goofing off and building towers and being silly... just precious time with the boys.  Then something happened!

 Jackson rushes to the window - "what was the that! WHO is here!?  I bet it's DADDY!  I need to go investigate!" (btw - investivate is pronounced "invessstagaaay").  Yes, sweet boy - let's do investigate.

Yep.  Daddy.
