For Christmas Eve church services, we got to bring our two big boys to church with us. Poppy and Grandma Betty stayed at the house with Christian.
Ethan started out ready to go! He loved the glow stick and that he got to stand on the chair and sing Jingle Bells... (which he did, loudly!) but shortly after Jingle Bells, he started to dose... Fortunately my mom was there to catch him... and he slept like this the whole church service and Ryan had to carry him out!!

That night, we all sat upstairs and watched Home Alone together. It's a family tradition that I love! We all get so cracked up... Just a fun movie. Before the boys went to bed, we prepared all the goodies for Santa... and Calvin observed.
Then, by the time Santa arrived with the sacks, Calvin was still perched in his spot...
Until I caught him....
The next morning, the boys were so excited! Merry Christmas!
Ethan asked Santa for "Christmas Thomas" and that's exactly what he got. He's pretty simple!
Christian was content just eating the gift wrap.
J asked for Ninja Turtle Legos. He got them, and many other Ninja Turtle things.... She was pretty happy.
Uncle Ray finally woke up and they had fun playing with the toys...
That evening, Ryan and I made a HUGE Christmas dinner for our family, my parents and Ray, and my grandma... We all sat around and opened gifts, and enjoyed our family time!

This little guy weighs in at 19 pounds, 4oz. He is super dooper adorable. While Ryan was in China, he crawled over to the Ipad where were facetiming him, and he looked right at him and said "DaDa." Pretty clear... So now he's officially joined his brothers by saying "DaDa" as his first word. He is pretty darn perfect. He sleeps 12 hours a night, eats 3 1/2 bottles a day, and is eating much better. He can eat "lumps" (not chunks yet), but that's improvement. He's still learning the sippy - and would rather chew on it than suck on it, but that's ok. He has 4 teeth - two top, two bottom. He loves to crawl and pull himself up to standing - where he will cruise around a table, or your legs, or anything... :) He hasn't shown any interest in walking, which is shocking since both of his brothers were walking by 10 1/2 mos! (That makes me super happy! I hope he stays lazy for awhile!) He loves to be held and is super curious about everything. He laughs so much and so loud that it commands your attention - it's so cute. His eyes are gloriously beautiful... just like his daddy's. His hair is starting to come in a little - and it's pretty blonde! He is extremely attached to his blanket (more on that later) and as soon as he has it, he pops that thumb in and he's "all good." He is just my sweet angel. I plan to rock this little guy to sleep as long as he will let me!! I am so in love.
Our good friends Darcy and Eugene live in Little Rock and we do not get to see them near enough... but they were driving thru on their way to Kansas City and were able to stop and stay the night. I love seeing them, but I was super stoked to see little Eli too! Darcy and I found out we were pregnant around the exact same time and we delivered our baby boys exactly 1 week apart. It was really fun watching these two boys play with each other! Hoping for many more playdates in our future!
Jackson behaved so well in December that he was allowed to have Cole come over for a sleepover. Cole is such a sweetheart that we were all looking forward to him coming over! The boys play so well together! They started out playing legos and exploring all of Jackson's Christmas presents... Then, we decided to create a movie. So the boys all created characters and we made a HILARIOUS 4 minute movie called "The Dark Ninja." So much fun! After dinner, we took all the boys to TCBY for some frozen yogurt. The next morning, Cole came to church with us and Jackson was stoked to take him to see his class at church. We played lots of games - I even took on both boys at foosball... They were a great team. We had so much fun! Jackson is already asking when Cole gets to come back.
