About 3 or 4 weeks ago, Jackson was fortunate enough to have gained a new friend! We met Daniela through our church, and she came here from Costa Rica to work with the junior high/high school ministry. On Mondays and Thursdays, Daniela comes and plays with Jackson, speaking only Spanish. Right now, the purpose to get Jackson accustomed to hearing Spanish and just exposure to it. He's so smart and picks up pretty quickly, so I'm hoping he will begin to learn the language. Daniela is such a sweet blessing in our lives - she plays so good w/ Jackson, and he gets SO excited on the days that she comes.
