Park Playdate with Bella

What a beautiful day!!! This morning, Megan and I met at the Lowell Park so that Bella and Jackson can play. Bella is going to be 5 on 5/5 - (haha! Cinco de Mayo girl!) and she is SOOOO good with Jackson! She is so sweet and helpful and he just follows her around wanting to do every single thing she does! It was precious! We had such a good time today!!!!

Belly Pic... or not.

This week, like most weeks, Ryan is in Chicago... ALL WEEK. I feel like a single mom these days. Anyway, normally, he would take our weekly "belly pic" on Sunday evening but this particular weekend, he flew home on Friday and came home for 45 minutes and hit the road for his annual "Mud Run" with the boys in Fort Worth. So by the time he came home on Sunday (LATE), I was asleep and then he was up and back to Chicago on Monday....

So needless to say - no belly pic. Maybe next week. We'll see.

Fun with Friends!

I was so fortunate to have purchased a home in a neighborhood with many many stay-at-home mom's who have little ones Jackson's age! My friends Emily and Heather and I took our kiddos to the playground to play last week (before Jackson and Ben got sick!)... They are all so cute!!! I hope we can all stay in this same neighborhood for a long long time so they can all grow up together!

Ben and Jackson found a watery slimy putting hole - to which, of course, sticks belong!!


Ben found something else in the hole (a worm on his eye) - doesn't affect how darn cute he is, does it!?

Easter 2010

Despite a long night last night and Jackson fighting a fever, we decided to continue w/ our plan to go to Boxley for church with the family. We really don't know what's going on w/ our baby boy but he's had a nonstop fever for a couple days now and I THINK he's cutting those very back molars and it's causing him some pain and that's why he's not eating... at least I hope that's all it is. Anyway, when Jackson is outside, he forgets ALL about everything! He didn't sit in church too well, so Ryan took him down to the nursery but then of course, he didn't want his daddy to leave so Ryan stayed. After church, they had an Easter Egg Hunt and Ryan took some pictures!

Jackson's Easter basket this year was a football Easter basket from his Mimi!


Jackson and I were looking for eggs and he kept saying "where did they go" looking for them.. It's his first and only sentence and he asks it all the time - whether it be Easter eggs, the kitties or even his shoes! :)


Boxley Baptist Church consists of the sanctuary and this - the old schoolhouse. I love it! My grandma actually went to elementary, junior high and high school in this schoolhouse.

Garage Sale Success, CHECK!

My friend Heather and I held a garage sale at my house on Saturday. Heather had a TON of stuff and our friends Emily and Brittney added stuff to it so we had so much stuff! We had a steady stream of people at the house from 7am - 100pm (even though it ended at noon)... then we had stragglers who came until about 3p while we were trying to pick it all up. Ryan was there when he could be but he had drivers' education class so we had to hold down the fort. Overall, I would say it was a BIG success!!!!
